I am right behind you as gpu score :) . Thank you for your help mate .

XFX Merc Black is an excellent air cooled card in my. Opinion.
Excellent score mate and I agree, Merc stole the show this time around!

I see what you mean, your score is nipping right at my heels. Point an air conditioner at your system and you may beat me :D.

gonna try and see if I can add a few more points to my score soon.

Looks lovely mate tbf.
Got to keep the wife happy with the purple! Not that she cares though. So the challenge is 16k graphics then! All my fans are running on the noise reduction cables too lol. I do have 14 noctua fans in there though. 10* 120mm on rads, 2*40mm on mb vrm, 200mm in front and 60mm on ram. 4000rpm on the d5 does a good job though.

Asus TUF RX 6900 XT, has anyone else had issues with the little LED lighting block?
It's a first world problem, and it is working ... it turns on for a few seconds on a cold boot, but when I get to the Windows login screen it goes dark and sulks.

I tried updating to the latest Radeon Driver.
And "AMD Radeon RX 6000 Series RGB LED" software which powers up and says "Plug in your AMD Device to get started".

I have Corsair iCue software that sees it, but it stays dark.
Ideas?

What sort of GPU power draws are you guys seeing during Firestrike Ultra runs? It _feels_ a bit like this thing would go faster if it had more juice! Not that I want to melt mine within 8 hours of unboxing it :)

Me too, and I think the 120mm rad will just be enough (and can always manually add another fan to help it).

Shroud looks nice but the 120mm rad looks pretty anemic. It doesn't really appear to be an especially thick rad either, beside the asus lc and the sapphire toxic it looks pretty dinky by comparison. They obviously went with 120mm for better case compatability, plus it handled vega though I'm sure that was a thicker rad.

But as usual it has the same flaw all aio cards have, no way of topping up the rad so eventually enough liquid will permeate and it won't have enough left to cool the gpu. Will take several years at least but vs an air-cooled card thats always a down side.

Seems a bit of a pointless card anyway, how much more can they squeeze out of the 6900xt core? Probably have a couple percent difference at best.

AIO coolers on a GPU are the best cooling outside of full watercooling. Geez dont you remember the days when we tie wrapped them to GPU's eg GTX 580 before they brought out the GPU brackets. It can knock off like 20c. Thats why companies started bringing them out because us the customer did it first ! Not sure how they handled modern GPU's although last one I did was a 1080ti and it cooled that no problem.

@JediFragger usually get those types of comments regarding AIO rad from watercooling purist fans :)

Nonsense, I know people still running 5yr-old H80's with no issue, it'll last that long easily. Positive as always from Gerard! Misog git :D

Seen a video a year or 2 back with a fury x that had lost so much liquid it was basically unusable. And seen posts on hardocp with others getting the same issue. Its one thing not to have a fill port on a sub £100 aio, its entirely another not to have one on a grand plus gpu. Even reviewers are mentioning it so its something they expect to see at some point.

And considering it would cost pennies to implement there's not much reason why they don't do it besides built in obsolescence. 5 years might seem a long time to keep a gpu but it's not unusual.

Yeah but wasnt a lot of the Fury AIO's faulty pretty sure they leaked when they came out.

Okay had another rush of blood to the head and went for a 6900xt which is the card I originally wanted months ago to complete my AMD setup.
Had a slight panic attack today when I realised it was too long for my current case config so had to put my AIO radiator in the roof and check my
box of bits for what other fans I had. Just my luck the Corsair one I found was blue and not red. So here are a few pics and I need to look for some
fans for the front. Supplied sag stand was too large so once again went for the trusted lego stand.

Just had a quick play on CoD for the first time in months - wow this thing is overkill - I was getting 180-200FPS at 3440x1440, and boy does high-framerate make up for my lousy aim!

World war Z is funny, 280fps average at 4k max settings in the in game benchmark! I'm just playing through it currently. Locked it to 120fps so the card is icy cold lol.
