Streaming Computers
The right streaming PC makes all the difference between lag-filled gameplay and a full stream chat basking in the glory of your setup. No matter your requirements or budget, Overclockers UK has the perfect streaming PC for you. If you’re looking to become the next streaming star, you’ll need to decide between a single PC or dual PC setup.
Single PC Streaming Setup
A single system streaming setup requires a powerful CPU and GPU, as it needs to both render and encode your gaming stream. For the best results, you will need at least an Intel Core i7, Core i9, AMD Ryzen 7, or Ryzen 9 CPU. For the graphics card, the bigger, the better. At a minimum, we recommend a system featuring the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics or a high-end AMD Radeon GPU for smooth gameplay and high-quality streaming performance.
Dual PC Streaming Setup
The other option is a dual-streaming PC setup. For your gaming PC, we recommend 16GB of RAM, a powerful processor such as an Intel i7-12700K, and a high-end graphics card like the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series. Then for the streaming PC, you'll need a high-performance CPU to handle most of the video encoding from your gaming PC. We recommend choosing a PC that also has at least 16GB of RAM and a capable GPU, such as an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series card, to ensure smooth and professional-quality streaming.
Finally, to receive the output from your gaming PC you will need a capture card. This is also a necessary piece of kit if you are streaming from a console instead of a secondary computer.
