Systems - frequently asked questions

How soon will I receive my system?

Please allow 7 working days for your system to be built and configured (this may take longer during busier periods). You will need to allow for the shipping time depending on the service you have selected. Please allow longer for Prestige Systems due to their complexity and the additional testing required.

Can you customise a system specially for me?

Yes. If you can’t find what you are looking for, please contact our sales team to enquire about your dream PC. Our in-house design/R&D team are able to offer a full bespoke solution including custom water-cooling, case modification, lighting and cable braiding.

What warranty comes with my system?

Our standard warranty is a full three-year Collect & Return warranty including parts and labour. Be sure to keep the box in the event of a fault. If a faulty part is no longer in stock or available, we will contact you. Please note this warranty is not available outside of the UK.

We also offer a labour free upgrade service should you wish to upgrade your PC during the warranty period. During the collect and return period we will arrange everything at no cost to you (UK Mainland only). We will pick up your system, repair and test it, then ship it back to you. Systems are usually fixed and shipped out within 72 hours of receipt at OcUK (can be longer during busy times). If you are outside the UK Mainland, you will be responsible for returning the system to OcUK.

How does the Upgrade Service work?

If you want to upgrade your system during the warranty period, our engineers will do the installation free of charge. You will only be charged for the components and the shipping. Contact us to discuss your requirements.

Can I order without an Operating System?

Yes, this option is available on most systems. No OS systems are fully tested with the same extensive methods as systems chosen with an operating system, including CPU, memory &graphics stress tests. All no OS systems are formatted completely before shipping.

How do you test the system?

Using our custom developed testing suite, every system undergoes a series of CPU, Memory and Graphics stress tests to ensure the reliability and stability of these critical components. Each system then performs a series of benchmarks to make sure it is at peak performance. The test and benchmark results are then verified during our step by step, robust QC process.

What if something is not quite right with my new PC?

Don’t worry, we have you covered. Our support channels are manned by our own technicians so you will be able to speak to the very people that build our systems. In the unlikely event of a fault, you may be required to undertake basic fault finding with the aid of our support team.
