OCUK Systems: Frequently Asked Questions


How soon will I receive my system?

Please allow 7 working days for your system to be built and configured (this may take longer during busier periods). You will need to allow for the shipping time depending on the service you have selected. Please allow longer for Prestige Systems due to their complexity and the additional testing required.

If you need your system faster, you can select a FAST TRACK BUILD service when configuring your system (subject to component availability). We also offer a range of Express Systems - pre-built, tested and ready to ship.

How long is the Warranty?

Our standard warranty is 3 years including a free labour upgrade service. You can see the warranty package we offer with our systems below:

During the collect & return period we will arrange everything at no cost to you (UK Mainland & Ireland only). We will pick up your system, repair and test it, then ship it back to you. Systems are usually fixed and shipped out within 48 hours of receipt at OCUK. If you are outside the UK Mainland & Ireland, you will be responsible for returning the sytem to OCUK.

How does the Upgrade Service work?

If you want to upgrade your system during the warranty period, our engineers will do the installation free of charge. You will only be charged for the components and the shipping. Contact us to discuss your requirements.

Can you customise a system specially for me?

Yes, if you cannot find what you want or are after something extra special, our Custom Built Solutions service will deliver your dream PC.

Can I order without an Operating System?

Yes, this option is available on most systems. No OS systems are fully tested with the same extensive methods as systems chosen with an operating system, including CPU, memory & graphics stress tests. All no OS systems are formatted completely before shipping.

What if something is not quite right with my new PC?

Here at Overclockers UK we are dedicated to delivering the absolute best experience for the customer, all the way through. From the first click we are here every step of the way. This extends to our exemplary after care services, where we endeavour to service and cater for any and every customer requirement.

As such we have setup a comprehensive array of support especially to cater for our customers that have purchased a pre-built system our support channels are manned by our own technicians not outsourced like many other support lines, you will be able to speak to the very same technicians that build our systems

In the unlikely event of a fault, you may be required to undertake basic fault finding with the aid of our support team.
