Excellent case for those old school requirements
by BBI needed to free up some physical desk space and decided to downsize my 11yo X99/5930K workstation housed in a Phantek Enthoo Primo to a smaller case. I'm an older guy nowadays, not interested in flashy RGB, glass display cases etc. and just needed a functional case with good airflow/radiator support and at least one ODD bay. After some distraction with some of the Fractal Design offerings, I found my way pack to Phantek and the Enthoo Pro M. I finally completed the migration from old to new and very pleased with the end result. The Pro M is still a relatively large case, though considerably smaller than the original Primo. Easily accommodating my array of HDD and SSDs. Both build quality and construction are excellent, and also doesn't use the push in/pop out panel fasteners used on the original Primo. (They failed after 5 years) The one thing that did catch me out is the case is meant to include two plates, each mounting a single 2.5" SSD/HDD. Unfortunately, these were missing from the case delivered, but I didn't realise this until about three weeks after delivery as I was busy building a couple of systems for others that took priority. (The original Primo uses a similar arrangement and thought I could reuse those only to find they are too deep for the Pro due to Primo plates holding two drives per plate). A huge shout out to Patrick for expediting replacements for the missing parts. Thank you I have shopped with Overclockers since the early 2000s and they have fulfilled 90% of my IT purchasing over the years. The range of products offered surpass most competitors and whilst those competitors occasionally offer products at a lower price, few match the level of service, especially when things go wrong. Only twice have I needed to call Overclockers regarding an order. The previous attention received and response to the missing drive plates on this occasion is an affirmation to why I have and will continue to return to the company.
