Super-low input lag for fast response
Use a 1080p@120Hz input signal and this BenQ’s responds with super-low input lag of just 8.3ms. What this means is an instant response to your gameplay. Vital for shoot ‘em ups and a huge advantage for sports games, the quick response means you’re always at the top of your game. With a 1080p@60Hz signal, input lag is still low, at just 16.7ms.
Exclusive Game Modes – Bright and Dark
Unique Bright and Dark Game Modes make this BenQ projector even better for gaming. Game Modes enhance the image, bringing out detail within darker areas for greater clarity. Find enemies lurking in the shadows and discover every hidden on-screen secret. With this TH690ST model, there are separate Bright and Dark modes, optimising the picture to the room’s lighting.
Natural, long-lasting colour with 4LED
BenQ uses a 4LED light system for consistent, natural colour over the projector’s lifetime. This means that even after ten years play (used for 5 hours a day on average), the colour, brightness and contrast will still be at peak performance.
ST for all-room compatibility
This ST (Short Throw) projector suits all sizes of room. It’s possible to get a mighty 100 inch image with the projector just 1.5m from the wall. Even with a cinematic 150 inch display, the projector needs just 2.3 metres – making this projector ideal for even the smallest spaces.

Compatible with HDR10 and HLG, the TH690ST makes the most of HDR encoded games and films. HDR enhances the brightest and darkest sections of scenes – letting you see detail in what was previously a solid block of colour. It also makes the rest of the colour spectrum appear more natural, giving an even greater sense of ‘being there’.
TreVolo stereo speakers for enhanced sound
Unlike many projectors, the TH690ST is fitted with stereo speakers for a more expansive soundstage. The twin, 5 watt TreVolo chambered speakers give a richer, more balanced sound than usual. For sound that truly matches the image size, however, optical digital and analogue 3.5mm outputs are on hand for connecting to your soundbar or music system.

Getting the ideal image is simple with the TH690ST. With 1.2x zoom and 2D vertical/horizontal keystone, you can adjust the image to perfection. These technologies mean that the image isn’t just ideally sized but that it’s also precisely aligned and cropped – whatever the size of your room.
