This is my first oled hdr monitor and it has blown me away I have to say. The blacks are perfectly inky and the colours are bright and vivid. I especially love the built-in kvm as I use this with a work laptop and a gaming PC. It also handles motion better than any monitor I have used before. This is great if you play competitive games like counter strike or racing games like forza horizon 5. I am looking forward to replaying Cyberpunk 2077 on this monitor as it will look incredible with the bright neon colours. All in all, I am over the moon with the monitor.

I rarely write reviews but the quality of this monitor really prompted me to write something here.
I've been looking at getting a new monitor for quite some time now, probably around 6 months, doing research and reading others reviews and opinions, I finally decided on the MSI MEG 342C QD-OLED for several reasons.
1. I wanted something ultra wide, as I use my PC for many things as I am a Software Developer the extra screen real estate is always welcome, but additionally I dabble in many other productivity tasks such as video editing/3D modelling and this also benefits greatly from the ultra wide screen.
I have seen some people state that these displays are not great for productivity tasks due to the triangle pixel array causing issues with text, but personally I have no issues, and I think everything looks great!
2. I love to play games, and with the OLED quality of this monitor, paired with the 0.03ms response time makes it an insane experience. I have an OLED TV already so I didn't expect to be too "Wowed" by this monitor, but boy was I wrong. From the first instant of turning it on the colours jumped out the screen, and I am still using my previous monitor as an additional monitor, when side by side the colour difference is huge.
3. A big factor was the built in KVM and USB-C display input with 65w charging AND they even provide you with the correct USB-C cable needed for this, which is great. This was a huge factor for me as I sometimes do a lot of work on my MacBook pro, so being able to just plug in 1 cable and have a display + charging is amazing!
I am very happy with my purchase of this product, and it was even sweeter getting it on a good sale. I would recommend this monitor to anyone who has the funds to buy it!
