To keep the blazingly fast CPU cool, 8Pack has worked independently with Nexalus to offer a high quality waterblock that maximises cooling performance on the sTR5 Socket. This pairing results in optimal thermal dissipation which 8Pack makes use of with increased overclocking headroom.

Due to the high performance of these chips, these bundles require a high quality power supply and good radiator capacity. The 64 core 7980X requires a minimum of a 1350W PSU. For cooling, we recommend pairing the 7980X with a thick 480mm or larger radiator and good static pressure fans, such as the Corsair XR7 480mm and EK-Loop FPT 120mm fans.
