I just used 3600x in my first build paired with a 2070 super and 3600mhz ram. For a mid range rig for gaming this gives great performance its definitely the sweeeet spot.
Awesome
It is a bargain for £189. So much performance. I got one for a SFF with a B450 ITX and was very impressed. So I bought another with a X570 and a larger cooler as a temporary (will probably get the 4th gen 16 core eventually as the AM4 mobo supports it) upgrade for a quad core and an octacore computers. The performance of the 3600 is fantastic, it blows away my previous cpu's. Turn times for total war: Warhammer 1 & 2 have been greatly reduced - they just fly.
The best bang for buck
Upgrading from a intel 2600k to this has made my pc experience so much better, the old workhorse was bottlenecking and it was giving me the hump so I decided to jump on the ryzen bandwagon and I'm so happy. This is a great cpu, bf5 runs super smooth now, playing at 144hz at 2k is a dream. Gta 5 no problems what so ever!. I have my old trusty gtx 1070 pushing the pixels and its not being held back by that superb 2600k, the ole girl was showing its age running bf5. Now I can have a good ole session on the pc without getting the pox. Well done AMD for delivering a cpu for under 200 poshies that goes to to toe with the closest intel offering that is almost double the price.
