I recommend using 3200MHz or 3600MHz 8Pack edition team group 16GB memory kits with Ryzen. I've tested this in both X470 and X570 platforms and both show excellent results with tight CAS timings. i did not think it was going to be this good come from 2600x and wow my rtx 2080 is not bottlenecked its now the bottleneck nice to see cpu in fron i am a big gamer i will recommend this as using ray tracing in games as well getting 20 fps on metro over 2600x
Upgraded from a 1600 to this chip on a x570, everything feels so much smoother, windows reports its boosting to 4.25GHz almost constantly with the included cooler. ashes and civ6 are noticeably smoother to play and transcoding video files onto my nas is a lot faster as well, yes in some cases its not as good as intel but the improvements i have got for the cost makes this a excellent value upgrade.
