I just wish the scale had an 11, I've recently upgraded my sons Ryzen 5 3600 based machine16GB 3600Mhz Ram and 2080 super on a B550 platform with this processor, just swapping the CPU and benching it put my own system which is an R9 3950, X570, 64 GB 3600Mhz RAM and 2080Ti to shame, the speed of the system to render movies and CAD is incredible, the price is a no brainer and I don't think the extra cores on the 5950 would be worth it to most people, but if you need to run Chrome then you may want to. The 5900X is just so undemanding of the systems cooling that nothing else has needed to be swapped out, the Corsair 115i AIO copes with steady temps sitting at 35'C idle and a max of 73'C under load (Port Royal) of course I have PCI-E Gen 4 NVMEs installed so the maximum benefit is seriously being felt, Comparing this to my other works system which is an intel 10900K based workhorse, it just makes the blue teams offering look like a beach donkey. ATM I am solidly behind the lower cost of the AMD based system which is undeniably demolishing anything from the other side of the fence.....now if I could just get my hands on another....
