Very good

As Stoycho Karaulanov say's it all in his/her review . I use the i7 6700K with 16GB corsair vengeance RAM x2 GTX 960 4G in SLI and it's perfect. I used this mobo in my 1st ever build and it all went without a hitch. awesome buy well worth it .

The Best

If you're an avid gamer and you want the fantastic performance offered by the Skylake chipset, this is the best motherboard on the market. Asus are gaming geeks, and they have carefully crafted this board to squeeze every atom of performance out of your components, giving you the edge on just about everything.

I have added to my motherboard an Intel Core i7 6700K, 16Gb Corsair Dominator 3,000Mhz DDR4 RAM and a Sandisk Extreme Pro SSD, using Microsoft Windows 10 Pro as the operating system. The build quality of the motherboard is exceptional. The connectors have been laid out at just the right locations and the board is very neat. Components slot in snugly with a satisfying precision that let's you know that the connectors have been engineered with considerable accuracy. The motherboard software installs itself automatically from the supplied DVD and detects whether an existing installation exists, so you can run it again easily if you skipped something in an earlier install. I was particularly pleased with the PCI Express GPU connectors, as I added some older twin Nvidia Geforce GTX 780 GPUs in SLI, and these heavy cards sat firmly without any sagging.

The BIOS software is extremely comprehensive and you are able to tweak a vast array of settings. I tend to only make a few small changes, but there's a depth to this BIOS that would put a solid grin on the face of even a hardcore overclocker. I decided to upgrade the BIOS immediately, as it shipped on version 0506 and the latest version was 1001. It's simple, just download the BIOS file from Asus, pop it on a thumb drive and use the motherboard BIOS system to upgrade.

Boot times are amazing using an SSD and this board works very well with Windows 10. I will soon add an M.2 SSD, which I intend to dedicate as a Steam games drive, potentially getting read/ write speeds of up to 1,200Mb/s. That's going to make my heavily modded Skyrim install fly and I am greatly looking forward to that, so I will post an update once I have upgraded.

If you want a solid high performance platform for your cherished components then look no further. This motherboard has it all and far too much to mention in a review. Go check it out online and convince yourself. I am already enjoying a blisteringly fast system and I haven't even started tweaking everything yet!
