top class z690 motherboard and love asus strix extras
by aaron jenningsI wanted to start out by saying I didnt buy this motherboard here it was from another retailer but I wanted to leave a review here as more people will see it.Ive been with amd last couple of cpus but with intel 12000 series coming out thought it was time to go back to intel again. I was looking for a motherboard with ddr 4 memory and whilst my last 2 have been asrock I wanted to go back to asus and this was the only strix motherboard with ddr 4 suport.The board looks really nice with the white and silver heatsinks. The power delivery is top notch also. Fitting the cpu and cooler was a breeze. My corsair 3866 dominotor ram worked first time and runs perfectly at xmp.Bios is just as good as I remember and overclocking my 12700k to 5ghz all core and 5.2ghz for single core was amazing simple.There has been a few bios updates since launch that fixed any little problems I have hadThis is a good mid level motherboard with asus rog features and anyone looking for a cheaper rog motherboard sould look at this one 300 wasnt cheap but compered to the rest of the line up its a bargain
