I love this case ive had one and then got rid of it the problem with this case its two flimsy the bottom side doors don't shut properly the metals very thin easy bends and fo the price of it it should be rock soild that's why I only give it3 stars come on corsair ya can do better

gonna need a bigger desk.

massive concerns so far with build quality.bought this to do my first proper watercooling setup.looked at putting it all in my haf x...but i think it would have been a bit cramped in there.there is so much room for everything in the 900d,its unbelievable.if you like the looks(and i do)if you need the space inside for multi gpu and lots of watercooling and you have the it.its a beast.

Huge and has everything u need to install basically anything in this beast! love it and it is wonderful for both airflow and water cooling :D thanks OcUk despite the small difficulty in getting my order dispatched.

very large case strongly built all that you need in a case if you air or water cool plenty of space in side once you buy this case you wouldn't want another I recommend this case .

what can i say huge case lots of options and they thought of almost everything when designing it. One of the best cases (bar caselabs)

The only case you'll ever need.

Holy freaking cow. Previously owned a Corsair 650D, which is frankly dwarfed by the 900D. Seriously, you can FIT the 650D inside the main area of the 900D.

My Corsair AX850 PSU is able to reach all necessary components, so no extensions required.

Black fascias on optical drives, fan controllers and bay reservoirs are a MUST.

Seriously epic case. Corsair have really outdone themselves. It's not cheap, but you're getting a Caselabs level of build options for a more mainstream price. Worth every penny!

excellent case would recommend this case its big and plenty of room inside.

excellent better than the 800d bigger more room in side

Fantastic Case

A huge case with lots of room. I needed a massive case for my latest watercooled build and with this one, space was never an issue. Easily able to fit extended form factor boards and large graphics cards with waterblocks on. And after all that, still there was room to mount the cylindrical reservoir next to the motherboard. Sufficient space for 3 radiators - Two 480 Rads installed in the roof and the base and one 360 rad in the front, still sufficient space for dual MCP655 pumps and a large PSU.

Plenty of room behind the motherboard mounting plate to run cables and keep the system looking very tidy with many routes available for cable management, although the sheer size of the case could potentially pose a problem with non-modular PSUs cable length. However if anyone is buying this case I would hope they will be filling it with the very best hardware anyway so probably not an issue. I did need to use an extra long cable for supplemental power to my Rampage IV Extreme CPU 8-pin and 4-pin connectors right at the top of the board, it is quite a long run from the PSU mounted at the bottom to the top of the board, behind the motherboard backplate.

Airflow is well designed, all the major intakes for radiators: base sides, front and top have dust filters that are very easy to remove and clean (so much easier than my old HAF-X build case), and do keep the inside virtually dust free even with 11 fans pulling air in. The stock fans are of decent / standard quality but to get the best cooling over the rads I did replace then with Corsair SP120 fans, which were slightly quieter.

The modular drive cages are brilliant, if you are installing a big radiator in the base area like me then it's a breeze to move the cages to alternate locations. Several SSDs setup in RAID is no problem, there is enough space behind the non-windowed side panel for a mass of power and SATA cables.

Finally, the look. Well, I think we all know it is a beautiful case! In keeping with the "Obsidian" name it does look like the monolith from 2001 A Space Odyssey from the front. Sleek and imposing - as watercooled systems should be. None of that flashy, aggressive design you see with high end air cooled cases like the HAF-X, this case is dominating and imposing without the bling of the lesser air cooled competitors.

Only disadvantage could be the sheer size - It is massive! - And will certainly need it's own table or TV stand to support it's size and weight when the watercooling loops are fully filled!
