With the IB-1817MCT-C31 we have further optimized the successful ICY BOX® IB-1817 series. Our sleek aluminum enclosure for M.2 SSDs is now compatible with both NVMe and SATA. SSDs in the usual sizes from 2230 to 2280 with up to 2 TB storage capacity are supported.

- EASY TO INSTALL: The installation of the M.2 storage works without tools. The housing is opened via a lock, the SSD is fixed, the thermal pad and heat sink are placed and the housing is closed again
- CABLE INCLUDED: The included USB Type-C to Type-C combo cable with integrated Type-A adapter makes connection to the host computer really easy. The right connection is always ready to hand
- WELL PROTECTED: The IB-1817MCT-C31 is equipped with an integrated write protection. This protects your data from accidental loss. The write protection can be easily activated and deactivated with a switch
- FAST DATA TRANSFER: The ICY BOX M.2 housing IB-1817MCT-C31 uses USB 3.1 (Gen 2) with data transfer rates of up to 10 Gbit/s. In this way, you can even carry out copying processes with large amounts of data extremely quickly

Simply fast
You can install your M.2 SSD in the IB-1817MCT-C31 housing without any tools: simply open the lock, fix the SSD in the bracket and close the housing again. You can already exchange data at a speed of up to 10 Gbit/s via the USB Type-C® connection.

Losing data is absolutely annoying, but can be avoided with the IB-1817MCT-C31 from ICY BOX®. Our housing for M.2 SSDs has write protection that can be easily activated and deactivated with a switch. So your data is always safe.
