Finance available from A great 3060 card!
by JoshI was lucky enough to get one of these from Overclockers at almost MSRP (369.99 + 10 delivery) in July when they were doing an offer on the Inno3D cards, despite me not having heard of Inno3D before, I of course picked one up immediately because of the great price. I have been using this card for a couple of weeks and have been so far impressed with it's performance.The only intense usage it's had has been for running Doom (2016), which at 4K, pulls off a frame rate of between 72 - 90 FPS (over 100 FPS in less visually intense areas). Coming from console where i'm used to mostly 30 FPS and sometimes 60 FPS, this feels really smooth! I did also test it at 1440p and gameplay never went below 120 FPS at any point, which I believe is both a testament to both the quality of the card and how well optimised Doom is on PC.The only notable downside I can think of is the card's fans do get quite loud while gaming, notable as I use BeQuiet fans in my PC so pretty much any noise heard will be from the card. This isn't much of a problem as I wear headphones while gaming, and whilst they're not regarded as a "noise-cancelling" headphone (they're the Razer Kraken Tournament Edition) I haven't felt the need to crank up the volume just so I can't hear the fans, so likely if you have a decent pair of headphones, you'll be fine with this. Also fan volume whilst internet-browsing etc is very quiet.Aesthetically it looks fine, the 'Inno3D' logo on the side of the card is an LED so it lights up in white, but to the best of my knowledge it's not addressable. It also has an alright-looking backplate so it's not just the circuit board visible, though the serial number stickers on the backplate you're not allowed to remove as it voids the warranty, so while that's understandable it takes the edge off the visual appeal.Overall the main thing is the card performs well and for my needs, playing singleplayer at 4K, this definitely does the job!
