Minimalist Design

The Jonsplus i400 features a pleasing, simple aesthetic. With sleek and stylish curved front and rear panels that have been manufactured from sandblasted, anodised aluminium. The easy-to-remove magnetised top grill is composed of black PC-ABS plastic, while the feet are made of the same sandblasted aluminium as the front panel. These features combined give this case a minimalist appearance that breaks the conventions of how a gaming PC should look.

Furthermore, the Jonsplus i400 presents the installed components in a sophisticated manner. Utilising a cover for the top radiator, any RGB fans will have their light channelled down onto the components. Alongside this, tinted tempered glass is used for both side panels keeping the lighting more subdued. This all focuses the eye onto the core components, as to provide a more appealing display.

Vertical Airflow

For optimum airflow, the Jonsplus i400 features several innovative techniques. Firstly, there is the design of the case itself which acts like a wind tunnel pulling air in from the base and exhausting it through the top. To allow an ample supply of cool air through the base, the case is raised 25mm by four stylish stands.

Secondly, the power supply has been moved from the standard placement at the base of the case at the rear to a front vertical mount at the top. With this change, the entire base can be devoted to cooling fans, which supply plenty of air to the graphics card and CPU. These fans can be further optimised with offset mounting options that can channel air around even the largest of GPUs.

Finally, the Jonsplus i400 is compatible with a variety of radiators, making it ideal for AiO or custom water-cooling solutions. The compartment for the radiator can host one that is up to 360mm in length and 80mm in depth. Air cooling is also an easily accessible option as the width of the case allows the installation of high-performance CPU air coolers up to 168mm tall.

Versatile Hardware Choices

When building a gaming PC or workstation into the Jonsplus i400, you’ll have a high degree of flexibility thanks to a series of innovative developments. To begin with, the case has space to support a wide range of motherboards, from Mini-ITX all the way to up to E-ATX. There is ample room for an E-ATX motherboard of up to 330mm, although the larger size may interfere with cable management routing.

Thanks to the vertical orientation of the PSU, power supplies of up to 270mm can be installed. The area beneath the power supply can be utilised in one of two ways, firstly it can be used for cable management for longer power supplies, or secondly to expand the number of storage drives. The i400 can house two 3.5" HDDs and a 2.5" SSD in the cavity under the PSU, and a further four 3.5" drives can be mounted behind the motherboard tray.

Furthermore, to facilitate a plethora of choices when it comes to GPUs, the Jonsplus i400 can support graphics cards of up to 340mm. These can be displayed in either a vertical or horizontal orientation, thanks to a rotatable PCIe panel. For vertical mount, a PCIe extender cable is required, which is sold separately. This case also includes a dual-adjustable graphics card bracket for the horizontal position, which aids in supporting longer cards extending their lifespan.
