Passive Beast

Having previously owned a 780TI by MSI i was ready to take the leap and hook myself up with the 908TI. Did i regret spending all that money!........ Well the answer is no this card is worth every penny, gaming on a 2k monitor doesn't even begin to stretch it's legs. Frame rates are through the roof including bench mark results. My only question now is do i save for a second Hmmmmmm......

SLI = Amazing

I have 2 of these cards air cooled in a build with a 4790K. I've not had to touch an overclock on the cards as they just fire up and make games look simply stunning.

GTA V, Fallout 4, Project Cars, FIFA 16, Far Cry 4, these are just some games I play and each one hits 144fps on my GSync 1080p monitor which only enhances the experience!

Pure overkill for 1080p but raw performance is scary with 2 of these cards. No point going near a Titan X for the Price to Performance.

6GB VRAM buffer gives plenty of opportunity for future, and I recon if you threw them under a custom water loop they would be even faster and better!

100% recommended!!

I've upgraded from a GTX650 Ti to one of these, huge improvement in FPS on all of the games I use it for and the lack of noise from the fans is impressive. There is a slight whine when you max it out but there are so few opportunities to do that it hardly matters. Please be aware that YOU NEED 2 x PCIe power supplies for this card and it can be a bit tight in smaller cases.

Greatest thing ever, quite simply.

Yeah I have SLI'd 2 of these beauties and there's no other words to describe it.
Awesome performance for 1440p 144Hz with everything maxed out on pretty much anything that's not CPU limited, these cards on stock speed beats 2 x 970s need I say more? overclocks so effortlessly with no headaches and gives even more performance if needed, noise level for an air cooled card has to be up there with the best of them and for me neither card has any coil whine which is great, aesthetically very nice, looks like a well built product, the backplate offers great looks and also great protection for the PCB. This has to be the best all round card for its time Nvidia has ever made, simply stunning, if you're serious about your high end gaming especially with 4K or high refresh rates on 1440p or eve 1080p then one or two of these cards is a must.

Powerful, quiet and looks fantastic.

Been running it a few weeks now.

Looks and feels great, fits well, runs quietly, impressively powerful and plays the latest games on max settings with ease. No coil whine.

Quite large so check the space available before purchase.

I bought two of these to replace my two msi gtx 780s

Possibly the best card I've ever purchas

Before this card I was a fan-boy of ASUS ROG products, however, after finding a couple of flaws in ASUS products I've owned of late, I've decided to see "if the grass was greener" with MSI

Top class

This is the best GPU I've owned. Build quality is great, performance top notch, and it runs nice and quiet even at 80% fan speed.

I've had 1500 core and 8000 memory out of it, but I run it stock fur gaming as I just don't need the overclock!

just moved up to this from a msi 290 and all i can say is wow! its very quiet, no coil whine with my corsair rm650w, a lot lower temperatures, and of course better fps!!! very happy indeed! also the fans dont spin when you are looking at websites etc.
thanx again OC :D

Great Card

Running at 1520 on stock volts. Even when reaching 100% load the fans are around 70-80%, stays around 65C and can't be heard over the case fans in a bitfenix prodigy. Perfect card for 1440p, allows max settings with everything turned up for 60fps with no drops. Can't recommend this card enough.

Upgraded from EVGA 780 SC

I wanted something that would make using a single 4k display useable for most games, at 4k! This card does not disappoint!

I will probably go for a second one just because I like the quality of this card so much. Its better than my previous evga 780 SC, just feels really solid construction. MSI has moved on leaps and bounds and have produced a nice card in the gaming 6G ;)

Highly recommended for anyone in a similar position who is thinking of stepping up from a 780 SC or 780Ti. You wont be dissapointed!

A great upgrade

I've had a 680 SLI setup for a little over three years. They were new at the time and now just 3 years later a single card blows that old setup away.

My sample boosts out of the box to 1330ish, and I've added another 100 and its stable in everything. I can go further for benching, but pCARS seems to dislike getting close to 1500Mhz.

The card fans are amazing. It is silent against all other fans in my case, until it hits 75%+ fan speed, and then I can hear it.

Build quality is fantastic, and I cannot wait for purchase 2/3 and 3/3. Another of these for SLI and a 4k monitor!

FAB card!

Very quiet even under load, no coil whine. Solid and stable.

If you have no plans to go to water, then I'd recommend this card over reference any day of the week!

Impressive !!

Originally brought two of these to replace an MSI 970 sli setup. All I can say is WOW !
These are fantastic cards ! very quiet, no coil whine with these two, and amazing performance !
I'm not saying that sli 970's were bad, in fact quite the opposite. I thought they were fantastic for the price point! but after upgrading to a 1440p 144hz ROG Swift Gsync monitor, I definitely felt like the 970's would just not cut it for 1440p and 100+ fps in demanding titles which is why I went with 2 x 980 ti's..... I have no complaints so far :)

Wow, Impressed!

Got this delivered from another online etailer on 26.6.15. Coming from 2 x HD7970's in Crossfire to this card it's amazing! Clocking up to 1380 on the core in MSI Gaming App in OC mode, and getting 140 FPS @ 2560 x 1440 in Battlefield 4 with everything cranked up to the Ultra and 4xMSAA! Runs pretty silent even in OC mode and I don't really notice the nose when gaming. Also sits at about 56 degrees with no fans running in silent mode. Witcher 3 is also now silky smooth. Drivers seem rock solid. Am so glad I spent out! Don't tell the Mrs!

Not tried overclocking it yet but i'm sure it will breach 1400! Great job MSI!

This card is a beast!

I bought this card to replace my KFA2 Geforce GTX 780Ti HOF.

It outperforms that card (which is also a beast) in every single game. Although I play at 1080p, I plan on going to 1440p soon and have no hesitation now with this card. I don't believe hardware is good enough (even SLI setups) for 4K gaming yet, and I won't fork out thousands on SLI setups and have to deal with the microstuttering and lack of SLI support in some games, not to mention the 60Hz refresh rate offered with 4K monitors currently.

As a PC gamer, I buy expensive hardware to enjoy games at their fullest with clean, crisp graphics and after 5 years of SLI (GTX 480s and GTX 580s) have decided to stick to single card setups (the hassle of SLI is not worth it for me) and this card will stay put until nVidia release their next flagship in a couple of years.

This card is also quiet and runs cool - the fans switch off when the card is idling while you're in Windows and fires itself up when a game is started. I always use a custom fan profile with MSI Afterburner to push the fan harder to keep the heat down anyway. If you want insane performance, this card won't disappoint you.

Recent Purchase

I recently pre-ordered this card and finally received it today, the time of writing this.
Overall, I'm really impressed with the build quality. The cards width is slightly larger than normal so this is something to lookout for when purchasing. However that isn't a negative.
Performance seems great, I'm running Witcher 3 on Ultra in 4k at 60FPS with no notable issues. Finally, I'd suggest downloading and installing the "Gaming App" from MSI.

Hope this helps you make an informative decision when purchasing.

Great Card Overall

Performance is fantastic
Cooling is amazing
The fans don't spin up unless the card is under a lot of load, so unless I'm playing games it's silent.
Overclocks like a champ while remaining relatively cool and quiet.

Coil whine is absolutely horrible. It only happens when under load but it really is terrible and very loud.

"A great graphics card made even better thanks to an awesome MSI makeover. This is a card that is definitely worth the premium over the reference GTX 980Ti"
