Great entry level 'Z' motherboard if you're looking to use an Alder Lake CPU
by Tom RamsbottomI bought this to use with the new I5 12600 Alder Lake CPU + DDR5 RAM and I'm very happy with it. The motherboard itself is sleek and comes well packaged and protected. It has a great I/O panel for an entry level 'z' motherboard with 8 USB ports, and the WIFI capability is a bonus. One thing that's great about MSI is that the BIOS allows you to choose your type of CPU cooler and tunes your CPU power to match. Overall it's a great motherboard with all the features you might need, especially if you're looking to overclock, and is on the cheaper end of the z-690 range. If it's still a little too expensive for you it may be worth waiting for the MSI B-series motherboards which are supposed to be coming some time soon!
