The OcUK Gaming Genesis MK2 is built using the latest officially licensed ASUS components to carry Neon Genesis Evangelion designs. This pairs high performance with stunning aesthetics, inspired by the 90’s classic anime. An act of man that is definitely better than any of God’s. The hardware utilised in this build are the ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Hero EVA-02 motherboard, ASUS ROG Hyperion EVA-02 Full Tower PC Case, ASUS ROG Ryujin III 360 EVA-02 AIO CPU Cooler with OLED display, ASUS GeForce RTX 4090 ROG Strix EVA-02 GPU, and ASUS ROG THOR 1000W 80 PLUS Platinum EVA-02 PSU.
Each component sports the same burnt red colour, with accents of gold and black, a suitable nod to EVA Unit-02. Bold lines create a futuristic aesthetic and there are even renderings of beloved characters. The motherboard features fan favourite Asuka Langley Sohryu whilst Evangelion Unit 02 is on the PC case’s backplate. Overall, the OcUK Gaming Genesis MK2 is a must-have for Evangelion fans.
The OcUK Gaming Genesis MK2 has been engineered to facilitate high-performance gaming, streaming, and content creation. Equipped with an Intel Core i9-14900KF CPU, unleash the full power of advanced hybrid architecture on your workflows to enhance efficiency. This CPU boasts twenty-four cores, a mix of eight P- and sixteen E-cores, with thirty-two threads. Thanks to Intel Thread Director, this processor will intelligently manage the cores, assigning the best one to the task at hand to optimise operations. What’s more, it can reach single core boost speeds of up to 6.0GHz for phenomenally fast processes.
This is paired with 32GB DDR5 RAM, operating at 6000MHz. Enjoy ultra-fast fetch rates and near-zero latency as you play the various Evangelion companion video games and other AAA favourites. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU is built upon Ada Lovelace architecture, with third-gen RT cores and fourth-gen Tensor cores to render your games in photo-realistic quality.
The OcUK Gaming Genesis MK2 is cooled by an AIO CPU cooler. This features a 360mm radiator with three 120mm fans and an 8th gen Asetek pump. The aluminium radiator has been optimised to efficiently draw heat from the coolant, whilst the fan utilises a new ring-shaped design and advanced airflow channel to reduce heat around the VRM area. Delivering better coolant flow, the pump has a three-chamber design that creates high flow with low impedance at whisper quiet volumes. The shining feature of the ASUS ROG Ryujin III is the included 3.5” OLED screen on the CPU cap. This can be used to display your favourite Evangelion GIFs or system information.
Additional fans are installed throughout the chassis to enhance the natural airflow.
Providing the muscle for the OcUK Gaming Genesis MK2 is a 1000W PSU, complete with EVA branding and colour-matched custom red and black braided cables. It has an 80 PLUS Platinum certification, which means it operates with 92% efficiency at half load, minimising waste. The wattage provides ample power for all the components, with plenty of headroom for more Evangelion upgrades.
