The Phanteks Glacier G4080 ASUS Water Block is crafted from premium-grade materials to facilitate high-performance water-cooling. What’s more, each component of this water block has been custom designed for ASUS RTX 4080 graphics cards, to ensure optimised compatibility and efficiency.
The cold plate is manufactured from pure copper and is positioned so it directly cools the memory and power delivery components via high quality thermal pads. Showcasing your liquid coolant is the clear cast acrylic jetplate, which also directly covers the GPU die. This works in tandem with a fine 0.6mm fin array for optimal heat transfer. To provide additional cooling to the back of the PCB, the water block’s backplate is made of anodised aluminium with a 0.25mm Mylar layer. What’s more, the Phanteks Glacier G4080 ASUS is fitted with Viton O-rings, to prevent any leaks within your system. These O-rings are utilised by the automotive and aerospace industries for their impressive seal force and enhanced durability.
The overall design of the Phanteks Glacer G4080 ASUS Water Block has been improved. To maximise compatibility with a variety of PC case form factors, the fitting locations are low-profile and have been better placed for tube routing. This especially benefits more compact cases. Additionally, stability has been improved thanks to the inclusion of a GPU support bracket. This connects the water block to the rear PCI bracket for a more secure mount.
In-keeping with the bold Phanteks style, the Glacier G4080 ASUS Water Block is equipped with vibrant DRGB lighting. There are fifteen LEDs placed in a hard board strip that illuminates the cast acrylic jetplate beautifully. This lighting can be synchronised with other Phanteks ARGB accessories and compatible motherboards.
Finishing the aesthetic, the Phanteks Glacier G4080 ASUS Water Block is available in three finishes, black, white, or chrome. This model is chrome, adding a sophisticated shine to any gaming PC.
