The Phanteks Glacier G40 GIGABYTE Water Block is manufactured from premium materials, to lend durability and cooling efficiency. The clear jetplate is cast acrylic, expertly showcasing your liquid coolant and the integrated DRGB lighting. For the coldplate, 100% copper is utilised for its incredible thermal conductivity. Lending strength to the water block is aluminium, featured on the covers and backplate. As a signifier of quality, this water block is equipped with Viton O-rings. These have been specially developed for the automotive and aerospace industries, with enhanced durable properties.
Each component within the Phanteks Glacier G40 GIGABYTE Water Block has been carefully crafted to facilitate highly efficient cooling. Firstly, the jetplate rests directly over the GPU die, ensuring optimal heat transfer with your chosen liquid coolant. In addition to providing structural integrity, the backplate draws heat away from the back of the PCB. All with a clean aesthetic too!
Finally, the conductive copper coldplate fully covers the graphics card. This efficiently and directly cools the memory and power delivery components on the GPU’s PCB. What’s more, as a quality-of-life improvement, the fitting locations have been moved to make tube routing much easier. As a result, you can seamlessly integrate this water block and enjoy the enhanced cooling it offers your gaming PC.
In addition to premium materials and highly efficient cooling, the Phanteks Glacier G40 GIGABYTE Water Block features DRGB lighting. These 15 LED chips illuminate the cast acrylic jetplate beautifully and can be integrated with your gaming PC’s RGB lighting. What’s more, the LEDs can be synchronised with other Phanteks DRGB devices utilising compatible software.
To improve overall stability, a GPU support bracket is now included. This connects the water block to the rear PCI bracket, for an extra secure mount. Manufactured from aluminium with a 0.25mm Mylar layer, this backplate is highly durable and forms a solid foundation.
There are three colours available, with this model being black. This water block will effortlessly blend into any build, or offer stark contrast for lighter gaming PCs.
