by Alan1969I bought two of these RX6800 (one for my daughter and one for my son) in Autumn 2020 from 2nd party's (who managed to acquire them and then re-sell them on unopened). They worked very well on 60hz 4k monitors - probably due to the huge 16GB memory being sufficient. The FPS was close or at the 60FPS limit of the monitor. Since then my children have now moved to a 1440 165hz monitor and obviously getting high FPS (more than suitable for what they need). The drivers for the RDNA2 are very reliable and neither child has had any issues with black screens etc (this is totally unlike my RDNA RX5700XT which occaisonally has black screens still with total war games). Note that AMD intend to make the upcoming RDNA3 cards even more stable! (although as I say may son and daughter using these RDNA2 RX6800 have had NO issues, and they play a lot of different games and use modelling software etc).The construction and operation of these MBA ("Made By AMD") is top notch and these cards are very quiet even under load - I can totally recommend getting a "reference" MBA versions rather than a AIB custom partner card (note that powercolor etc is just a name and all MBA cards are identical).If you want high FPS on a 4k monitor than you probably really want a more expensive card. As I say these cards did work at 4k and 1440 res (more FPS at 1440 obviously) with good FPS for our use. Once the availability and prices calm down then for 1440 res you want want to consider the RX6700XT (for slightly cheaper).Overall this RX6800 is very capable, and was a very competitive price (for its performance and features), is very stable driver wise, and the MBA version is absolutely great. Overall I want one myself to replace my RX5700XT (but availability is nil ATM).
