Big, Cool, Quiet, Poweful
by GAKBThis card is... large. That size does translate to performance however! My shiny new Asus Tuf RX 7800 XT OC effortlessly handles games like Helldivers 2, Ready or Not, DCS World, and many more without breaking a sweat. Even when working hard the 3x fans spin quietly, keeping the core temperature as low as 55 to 60 degrees C, with the hotspot temperature peaking at around 76 degrees. I haven't tried overclocking yet, but it seems like there is plenty of thermal headroom to get more power flowing through it! The card itself feels high quality, with a clean metal shroud and backplate it's very sturdy and has some weight to it, but it even comes with a magnetic adjustable length support to prop up it's weight using your PSU shroud or bottom of the case. This was a little short in my case (Corsair Carbide Air 540) as there's a lot of room under the GPU, so I had to improvise a bit to make use of it, but it should work fine in most cases. Also be sure to check the dimensions of the card to make sure it fits in your case before buying! I had to move my AIO from front intake to top exhaust to make space for it. The only negative I can think of is the tiniest amount of coil whine when running at high framerates, but this was fixed easily by setting a framerate limit just below that of my monitor's refresh rate. Those extra frames aren't visible anyway, so who needs them? Full disclosure, this review is promoted by ASUS, but my views are genuine and I am truly happy with the GPU and can happily recommend it.
