The Meshlicious is the first PC case manufactured by Ssupd (Sunny Side Up Design), a new joint venture between Lian Li and NCASE. As a Small Form Factor (SFF) case, the Meshlicious has an internal capacity of 14.6 litres with dimensions of 245 x 166.4 x 360mm (L x W x H). Despite its size, this gaming PC case has room for 3-slot GPUs that are up to 315mm in length. The four distinctive mesh panels (front, top and sides) not only enable excellent airflow, but look outstanding with integrated RGB illumination.

The Ssupd Meshlicious Black with PCI-E Riser 4.0 at a glance:

  • PCI-E 4.0 Riser card included
  • Four mesh panels for excellent airflow
  • Supports standard ATX or SFX PSUs
  • Capacity for up to seven 2.5″ SSDs

The Ssupd Meshlicious Black with PCI-E Riser 4.0 in detail:

The Meshlicious’ small footprint, along with the full mesh panels, creates an eye-catching case that will be the centrepiece of any setup. Ssupd have gone out of their way to manufacture a case that allows for effortless hardware integration, such as exterior panels which can be effortlessly popped out with no need for tools.

The Meshlicious has a well-thought out interior. Despite the Meshlicious’s compact shape multiple components can be fitted, meaning there is no compromise on performance. The motherboard, along with the PSU (which can be either standard ATX or SFF), attach to one side of the case. Using an SFF PSU has the advantage of freeing up space for mounting a 2.5″ SSD drive alongside the SFF PSU in addition to the two that can be attached to the base by default.

Flexible interior layout

GPUs can be fitted in either horizontal or vertical orientations. In a vertical orientation, there is sufficient clearance for a 3-slot full-length GPU (315 x 115mm (L x W)) allowing any I/O on the GPU to be accessible via an outlet port on the bottom of the case. To keep cable management tidy, a right angle HDMI port has been included in the box.

A SFF GPU can be installed horizontally. It can take up to 3 slots and be a maximum of 211mm long. This configuration does mean there is no room for a radiator, but a 140mm fan can be installed in the front. It also frees up some space elsewhere in the case, meaning that a 73mm CPU cooler can be fitted to the CPU by moving the motherboard tray, versus a maximum of a 53mm CPU cooler with a vertically mounted GPU.

Additionally, when a GPU is mounted horizontally and an SFF PSU is fitted, a further bracket can be attached to the Meshlicious, which has space for two 3.5″ drives or four 2.5″ drives. The result is that a maximum of either two 3.5″ drives and three 2.5″ drives or seven 2.5″ drives can be fitted.

Excellent Cooling and I/O Accessibility

There are also several options for cooling. Out of the box, the large mesh panels allow for outstanding airflow, which can be enhanced by installing two 120/140mm fans in the front. Alternatively, up to a full 280mm radiator can be mounted on the front, ideal for AiO coolers.

Maintaining Meshlicious’s minimalistic aesthetic, the I/O on top of the case is kept to the bare essentials. There is a single USB Type-C 3.1 Gen 2 port, a USB 3.0 port, and a power switch. It's also worth noting that unlike most cases in this category, the motherboard is mounted to the Meshlicous with I/O ports accessible from the back of the case. As a result, accessing them much easier compared to when the I/O is on the bottom, as well as looking much neater than when they’re mounted to the top.

Good ITX - 1 or 2 extras finish it well

The build quality on the case is very nice. Only con for me was there are cable tie tags on the gpu side that stick out and if your gpu has a back plate or something that overhangs off the back like the strix cards to it hits them and pushes your gpu out. I managed to fit a 280mm EK AIO in the front, had to go with the radiator at the front and fans on the inside. If the fans are outside of the radiator the pipes caught and angled in a way that will damage them. I managed to just fit a 3080 Strix card in there, but with the placement every displayport 90deg adapter or cable I tried is slightly too but to fit. Cable routing from the GPU is probably the hardest part depending on the size as you have to hard bend them to make sure they don't catch the fans. HOWEVER You can buy m3 stud risers off amazon and extend the distance between your mobo and the tray and route the cables behind that to make cable management and routing easier and also help the airflow out. Also I recommend getting some slightly bigger feet if you're going with a large gpu as it lets the cables come out nice and easy at the bottom with only 5mm of height added on. Last but not least getting 90deg adapters for the 8pin connectors on the gpu help out with routing a lot, get the ones that have the cables pluging in from the backplate side and its a much cleaner and easier build.
