Replaced my RTX 2060. Maxes out around 220W on full load. Good: - quiet even at 70-80% fan speed - a lot faster than my 2060 was - now I am able to play my favorite games at 4K Bad: - the card maxed out power wise, even just +200Mhz GPU clock increase crash it. With DLSS turned on it will run the newest titles on 4K with ease. Generally happy with it.
This is the most affordable rtx 3070 option, but the build quality is definitely mid tier. The backplate supports the card well, so it doesn't put strain on the motherboard. The cooling solution performs very well even under load, despite having only 2 fans. The size is sensible and will fit any case. The performance is everything you can expect from an RTX 3070. All in all, this is a great product, for anyone that wants no nonsense performance and is happy to tune/OC the card themselves like I am. This combination of price and performance/quality on this product is fantastic.
This was the most affordable option for a 3070, but the build quality is definitely mid-tier. The card itself isn't as heavy as other models and the backplate does a great job at maintaining the weight of the card, there is very little pressure on the motherboard. The cooling solution is very effective. I have a custom 4-fan system with an AiO serving as an exhaust and the card does not go above 50C even under full load, at these temperatures the fans make very little noise. The performance of the card is great, both on video encoding and image rendering. I am mostly a power user but I tried a couple of the games I have in hand (Resident Evil 2 remake and Horizon: Zero Dawn) at 1080p with all settings on max and the card barely breaks a sweat.
