MANUFACTURER Lian Li

The white Lian Li O11 Dynamic Midi Tower is an ultra premium Midi-Tower that blends brushed aluminium with tempered glass elements. In comparison to its twin in the series, this variant offers a particular focus on cooling - thanks to the deft hand of modding guru Roman "der8auer" Hartung. What remains is the wide dual-chamber design of an ATX case, providing plenty of space for advanced gaming hardware, along with superb cable management and the potential for extensive air- or custom water cooling.

The Features of the Lian Li O11 Dynamic Midi-Tower:

  • Premium combination of aluminium, tempered glass and steel
  • Space for motherboard with E-ATX-, ATX- or Micro-ATX form factor
  • Clever dual-chamber design
  • 4x 2,5"-SSDs & 2x 3,5"-HDDs
  • Front panel with 2x USB 3.0 Type-A & 1x USB 3.1 Type-C
  • Supports graphics cards up to 42 cm long
  • Space for up to three 360 mm radiators
  • Up to nine 120 mm fans possible
  • Space for two power supplies

Premium ATX Case Design: Brushed Aluminium Meets Tempered Glass

The Lian Li O11 Dynamic Midi Tower manages to pair 8 mm thick steel with a tinted tempered glass side panel. However Lian Li takes this one step further and succeeds in kitting out the left chamber of the ATX case with a tempered glass front. The right part of the front consists of brushed aluminium and the front panel also hosts a USB 3.1 Type-C port, two USB 3.0 ports as well as the two obligatory audio jacks.

The Lian Li O11 Dynamic Midi Tower can fit an E-ATX motherboard in the left chamber, a graphics card up to 420 mm in length as well as a CPU cooler that is up to 155 mm in height. When it comes to the installation of AiO- or custom water cooling, the case offers the possibility of installaing up to three 360 mm radiators at the same time: On in the top, one at the bottom and one next to the motherboard. To that end the motherboard tray has been angled to the right in comparison to earlier designs. Air inlets are located on the front right hand side of the case. These ensure that heat produced by high-end components is dissipated efficiently and effectively.

Naturally the radiator slots can can also be kitted out with fans, each of which are capable of holding up to three 120 mm fans respectively. Several partly rubberised cable guides also come situated near where the motherboard would be in order to ensure neat and tidy cable management. The right hand chamber hosts hardware that produces little heat and therefore requires little additional cooling.

The Lian Li O11 Dynamic Midi Tower standards slightly elevated on steel feet with rubberised standoffs to enable cool air to push its way through the bottom of the case which is equipped with dust filters. The chimney principle causes the warm air to rise upwards, whereupon it escapes through the cover which is also equipped with a dust filter. Two additional dust filters cover both perforated grids in the right side section. The elegant Lian Li O11 Dynamic Midi Tower is not merely a feast for the eyes that is easily capable of housing a great deal of gaming hardware, it is also especially suited for PC enthusiasts that want to create custom loops for cooling their hardware.

Space for a Second Power Supply

In terms of data storage devices, the case comes with an HDD cage which allows two 3,5" HDDs to be installed. Both slots can be reached from the rear of the case, and they are concealed behind a perforated panel. Two 2,5" SSDs can be mounted on the back of the motherboard tray. There are two additional 2,5" brackets which are screwed to the bottom of the right side panel. In total, two 3,5"- and four 2,5" drives can be installed. The HDD cage can also be removed to make space for a second power supply which can also be installed vertically.

Note: If you plan to vertically mount a graphics card in the Lian Li O11 Dynamic Midi Tower, an optional expansion kit is available from Lian Li (CM-016-LL). It contains a customised slot bracket as well as a premium riser cable.

Amazing case

by Fantastic all rounder star star star star star

I can't believe this case is at this current price point, I honestly think it is an absolute steal - It has all the space you could ever want for anything from case fans to a full custom loop, I slapped 6x QL120 fans in it and it looks spectacular with a 360mm rad up top, I'd definitely recommend RGB strips to illuminate the case or rgb fans, to customise your own looks however its an insanely good case and I'm glad I bought it. definitely recommend

Killer Looks - A Must Have

by Chewie star star star star star

At this price poiint, there is simply nothing to compete if you're water cooling,It doesn't come with any fans but that means you're free to budget and customise how you want. Go cheap, go RGB, get white frame/blades etc. This is the first white case that I've thought looks better than it does in black and brushed aluminium just looks cool anyway.Building in it is almost a pleasure. If you're using power cable extensions and using all 3 of the 3" mounts, it can get a little tight in the back but since that side panel isn't glass, it will only play on OCD tendencies. There are a couple of very minor points to note... the cut-outs behind the 2" drive sleds don't line up perfectly with the drives' SATA power connections, so your cabling here gets squeezed slightly and may expose some ketchup & mustard on cheaper sleeveing. Also, you'll need those SATA plugs to be straight for the 4 mounting points that aren't in the main 'drive box' since the drives are mounted flat to panels. Any SATA plugs where the wire doesn't come straight out the back will put strain on the drive's connectors, which are not best known for their sturdiness in the first place.Cooling is poor out of the box unless you're using water though some fans pulling in on the side and pushing out the top make quite a difference.. Check out Gamers Nexus Youtube review for a comprehensive rundown on this. All told, this is the best looking case at this price point by a country mile.

Great Case

by Adam Hill star_border star star star star

All round great case in terms of quality of materials and ease of building in it, only issue is the magnetic dust filters basically kill any and all air flow through them! not a real problem if you remove them as its a visually open case so you have to keep on top of the dust anyway
