The Features of the MSI B450M Mortar in Detail:

The MSI B450 Mortar Micro-ATX motherboard offers one PCI-Express 3.0 slot with full x16 connectivity for graphics cards. For expansion cards, the motherboard comes with two PCIe-x1 slots. The four RAM slots support up to 64 GB DDR4-RAM clocked at up to 2.667 MHz. This can be increased via overclocking up to 3.466 MHz.

An M.2 slot with PCIe connectivity is provided since this is an AM4-based motherboard. M.2 SSDs that utilise the advanced NVM-Express protocol (NVMe) and that are connected via four PCI-Express 3.0 lanes are up to eight times as fast as as SATA 6G hard drives and support data transfer rates of up to 32 Gbit/s.

The MSI B450M Mortar has six USB 3.1 Type A connections on the I/O panel. For CPUs that come with integrated graphics such as AMD's Raven Ridge, the board has HDMI and DisplayPort port. The motherboard offers two headers for static RGB elements and three 4-pin PWM connections for fans.
