Since owning a PC from about 10 years ago, this is my 3rd MSI board I've used and they seem to be improving exponentially. Complete with a slick look, plenty of m.2 slots coupled with plenty of SATA connections and ready to be used with the latest hardware such as the Intel I7 12700k and 3080 Graphics cards (which I purchased for this board!) You honestly can't go wrong with it - Well worth the price!
The MSI MAG Z690 is a great board for the price and solid choice if looking to build out a gaming PC with a 12th gen intel chip. It comes with all the bells and whistles you'd expect (plenty space for NVME, lots of USB slots and comes with decent wifi built in and quick to set up using the USB stick). So far had no issues at all using this with an i7 12700k and RTX 3080 FE, looks good in the case (though that's more down to preference of clean build vs RGB, this board doesn't light up!). I'd recommend to anyone looking at boards in this range.
The board has all the features I need/want, it supports 4 nvme drives without using adapters, has a solid/overkill VRM, has intel ethernet, enough usb ports for my needs and has bluetooth. It doesn't feel like you are missing out on any features(unless you want thunderbolt or are interested in extreme overclocking), unlike other similarly priced boards. Also includes a usb drive in the box which is nice. Using with a 12600k, 32gb ram and an rtx3080.
