Near Silent
These are excellent fans, especially for the money. I really can't understand the reviewer who said they are noisy! They are almost completely silent. The only thing you can hear is the woosh of the air. They have a high cfm and good static pressure. They are an all-round winner. I used them on the 212 EVO and they significantly increase airflow. I also use them as case fans, and they are just great. The only thing I would say is that all fans make noise when an object approaches the blades, and most fans are optimised to produce the least amount of noise when something is close to the direction of flow. In other words, let them push rather than pull and they are quieter. It also helps if you use the body of an old fan (with the blades and motor removed) as a duct to stand the fan away from the case grill. This greatly reduces noise.
