I had such high hopes
by KarlosRight so let me start by saying the system itself runs perfectly and is almost completely silent even under load. However, the reason I can't give this a higher rating is due to some rather unsatisfactory problems when I received my order. Issue 1: There are scuff marks on the edge of the case panels that are very obvious since it is a black case. Issue 2: The motherboard has a small acrylic plate that shines with RGB. However, the protective film was removed from the plate and the plate arrived with finger marks and scratches that can not be repaired. sadly they are very obvious. Issue 3: My system was sent without the Windows product code so I am unable to activate my Windows for the system. I have requested this and it will be sent, but it is a shame to not have it from the start. Issue 4: The cable management of the device was done rather poorly for my unit. I was unable to close the back panel of the case as the cables were bunched up in one location. this required me to undo a fair amount of the cables in order to clean the cable management and finally get the panel on. Issue 5: I didn't want to mention this issue as the OCUK team was very transparent but I feel it must be mentioned. This PC was advertised as 1 of 12 unique custom pcs, sadly due to shortages I had to choose a completely different GPU. An upgrade from the 3080 x Eva to the Palit 4080, I was happy to receive the upgrade however I "Along with the other 12 people to purchase" was expecting the Eva GPU. I personally feel this is a good learning point for OCUK to check stock before promising a specific amount of parts. It's not all doom and gloom. I would like to mention that the team at OCUK has been unbelievably compliant with my questions and transparent throughout the whole process. I am still happy with the support I received and don't wish for my comment above to affect the support team.
