MANUFACTURER Phanteks

The Phanteks Enthoo Pro 2 joins the high-end Enthoo line. All the Enthoo cases are made from high quality materials and offer users an outstanding case for a powerful PC or workstation build. The Enthoo Pro 2 is no exception with this particular model adding a 'High-Performance Fabric' to the front panel for enhanced airflow. Its huge internal capacity allows users to fit up to SSI-CEB motherboards which make it perfect for a dual system set up with an additional power supply.

The Features of the Phanteks Enthoo Pro 2 - At Glance:

  • High performance fabric on front panel for enhanced airflow
  • Large internal capacity, perfect for multiple PC configurations
  • Supports up to SSI-EEB motherboards
  • D-RGB controller buttons and D-RGB elements on the PSU shroud
  • Support for multiple storage options up to eleven SSDs and four HDDs or up to three SSDs and twelve HDDs.

The Features of the Phanteks Enthoo Pro 2 - At Glance:

Aesthetically, the Phanteks Enthoo Pro 2 has an impressive almost industrial design. New for this model is a mesh front panel that is made from an innovative High-Performance fabric. This fabric-based mesh front panel offers improved filtering and airflow characteristics over traditional plastic or metal. It also features an angular pattern, which complements the clean lines of the case itself.

Another important element of the case's overall look is it's large tempered glass side panel. This enables users to display any components they've fitted inside the case. Indeed it is possible to mount your GPU vertically with a separate bracket.

The whole package is completed by having control over RGB illumination. Controller buttons on the i/o panel make it easy to switch through different colours and illumination modes. As well as that, the PSU shroud features RGB LEDs, which can also be coordinated with other RGB LED elements fitted in the case.

Extensive internal capacity for components

The Phanteks Enthoo Pro 2 will have room for all the components you need to make an extremely powerful PC build. It is compatible with motherboards up to SSI-EEB form factor. As well as that there are significant options for cooling from space for up to a maximum of 15 x 120 mm / 8 x 140 mm fans to room. If you want to fit water cooling elements, there is space for radiators as follows:

  • Front: up to 480mm
  • Top: up to 360mm
  • Back: up to 140mm
  • Bottom: 360mm
  • Side: up to 480mm

Great Case...But

Very impressed with this case however the front ports are hidden under a little door and are a bit tricky to access. Apart from that great case.

Great Case

Wasn't overly expecting too much with this case at the price point it was at. But I am really impressed, big well-built case. It doesn't feel cheap, nice glass side panel. Cable tidy and the PSU is hidden away and makes it look really smart. Plenty of places to put fans and 3x Radiators for water cooling. Honestly why pay some of the silly prices for a case, when personally this beats a lot of them at half the price. Only slight downside is, if your water cooling or going to side mount your GPU , you need to buy the add-on and there not cheap for a bit of metal brackets.

Great tower but a few tiny flaws.

by Samuel star_border star star star star

So to start with, I have been using this case for a couple months now and overall, if it wasnt for the fact that there had been a few coolermaster cases I had already fallen in love with, phanteks and this case are pretty much spot on in terms of style, looks, cooling and overall layout. The only gripes I have are that the front USB-C connector is pretty weak, and short. This means it wont stay in my ATX motherboard connection for the port and so far I have decieded to forgoe this as I dont use the ports on the front much if at all.The next thing which is a little more major is the mounting for the fans at the top and front. This can be split into two. The front mounting for say, 4x120mm fans is good, but the front IO cables do cover one of the mounting holes if you want to screw in all 4 corners of a fan to the case. The second bit is slightly more unfortunate. Although admittedly I didnt read properly, even though you can mount 3x140mm fans to the top of the case, you can only get 3x120mm fans and a 360mm RAD unless you mount the radiator "naked", have a motherboard that does not have a tall IO cover (unlike the X570 Hero from Asus), or if you are able to get a thinner radiator to accomodate the fans as well. However you spin it, (pun intended) the case has lots of rooms for fan mounts and overall those are just personal and no way takes much if anything away from the case. I do admit the side pannels are tricky and the back panel seems to have flexed or something as I cannot seem to get the bottom screw in properly, or something else has occoured. Also as I was able to pay less than 120 for the case, it is shockingly good value considering it can acoomidate a dual system AND massive motherboards with ease. The only board I can think of which MAY struggle would be the EVGA SR2 which I had a breif time using (before reselling for profit) and that was the biggest motherboard I know of.TLDR. buy this case if you are new to dual systems and want something flashy while aslo stylish and not too over the top if you intend to use it for more than just a gaming machine. The price is very difficult to beat for what you get. Lack of fans also means that you need your own, but for what you are getting you should know why.
