So close to perfection...
by Mark HoweAbsolutely love it! I did come across a couple of minor problems. Firstly, the chassis could be a little wider. On the GPU side, there is pleanty of room if you use angle fittings. If you put bends in your hardline instead, the tubing will sit very close to the glass, if not against it. On the other side, if you are also liquid coolong your RAM, you will have to use 90angle fittings, and you will also have to install spacers behind the rubber gromits that the glass mounts to, otherwise you will not get the glass back on due to protrusion of the tubing and fittings. I'm using 12mm OD hardline, and the fittings on my RAM blocks are right against the glass with 5mm spacers on the lower two mounts. Lastly, if you install two graphics cards:You will need to find a very long SLI/XFire bridge (about 30cm) to link the two cards as they sit one above the other. I'm a little surprised that whilst raijintek had the foresight to include a GPU riser cable (only one though), they did not include an SLI/XFire bridge considering the irregular layout of the cards. I managed to find a 30cm cable on Amazon, but they can be difficult to find in an adequate length. Apart from those two issues, I absolutely love it! It is nice and spacious inside, and easy to build in. If you mount your uporer radiator with the fitting to the front, then it is upright when you lift the case lid to remove it, and as it's cantered backwards as well, you don't have to worry too much about any spills. Most tube-style reservoirs should go right in; my Bitspower one did. I used the clip mounting it came with, and used the center hole, and one of the outer holes to mount it to the case factory mounting location. Absolutly brilliant chassis, looks amazing, and I am very happy with it!
