The
Seasonic Focus PX Platinum supplies up to
750 Watts in total output, meaning that even high-end PCs will be powered with ease. The
powerful 12 Volt rail also delivers a full 62 A output. In spite of these impressive specifications, the
Seasonic Focus PX Platinum is created with efficiency in mind as well, and this could only happen when Seasonic opts for the highest quality components - such as the capacitors for example. Consequently, the power supply received an
80 PLUS Platinum certification, meaning that it is cable of 90% efficiency under a 50% load.
In terms of tidiness, Seasonic smartly opted to make their power supply cables
fully modular - arguably a must with the amount of connectivity options on offer! Besides one 24-pin- and two 4+4-pin cables, the PSU includes (among other things) four 6+2-pin PCIe connectors as well as ten SATA and three 4-pin Molex connectors. The cables have a flat design to make cable management as straightforward as possible.

120 mm fan provides, thanks in large part to its quiet-running Fluid Dynamic Bearings, very low noise during operation. A switch on the back of the power supply allows users to choose between automatic fan regulation either with or without a passive mode. Depending on how hard the power supply is being pushed, users will benefit from reduced noise levels or maximised cooling performance respectively.
