The Shure A7WS Wind Screen is the perfect accessory for your Shure SM7B Microphone. Designed to work with that model and others of the series, this wind screen expertly protects your audio from plosive sounds, breathy noises, and the wind. Use close up or from a short distance, your vocals will be warm and well rounded. Perfect for streaming, podcasting, and more.

Easy to Install

The Shure A7WS Wind Screen is very easy to install onto your SM7B Microphone. First, you need to remove the standard wind screen from your microphone. The fabric utilised for this component is fragile, so it is best to hold the plastic ring base and then gently twist and pull away from the mic body. This will reveal the microphone grille.

From here, you can adhere the included anchoring Velcro strips directly onto the grille. They are optional but will help to secure the Shure A7WS in place. It is best to position them about an inch above the grille base. Once the strips are set up, all that remains is to stretch the new wind screen over the microphone grille, taking care not to snag on the Velcro. Finally, gently squeeze the A7WS over the strips, to firmly connect the fabric with the grips.

To remove the Shure A7WS Wind Screen, simply grip the base then twist and pull. It should come away from the Velcro easily.
